Comment Policy

Everyone visiting BMWF1Blog is welcome to comment on any story posted, in fact I encourage it as it makes more of a community here. There are a few common sense rules I ask you to follow. Simple rules that I’m sure no one will have any problem with.

1. When asked to leave your name, it need not be your real name as long as it isn’t suggestive if you know what I mean.

2. You are asked to leave a valid email address and it must be valid. It will never ever be made public on the site or sent to anyone. If you don’t leave a valid email address, your comment will be removed from the blog.

3. The blog is about the BMW Sauber F1 team and each discussion or story surrounds that theme. Please keep your comments on topic. No one including me wishes to sift through irrelevant comments. I have a contact page where you may leave a comment or question that isn’t covered in any post if you wish.

4. Comments that are rude, defamatory, or include any profanity will not be tolerated and will be immediately deleted and I will send out a warning to you via your email.
Make an effort to keep your comments less than long winded. I have a spam blocker in place and it tends to catch comments that run on.

5. For the same reason as above, keep links out of the comments unless they directly refer to another post on this blog or any other blog related to the topic.

6. If the spam blocker considers your comment to be spam, it will be sent to moderation. This doesn’t mean your comment has disappeared, just sent to me to evaluate it for links, or unwanted ads.

7. I do reserve the right to edit and if necessary remove any comment placed on BMWF1blog although rarely do I actually have to do this.
