Heidfeld Unsure of BMW Drive in 2010

By BMWF1guy

Nick Heidfeld is one of those guys who is never really sure of a drive from year to year and 2010 is no exception.

Heidfeld has joined the early lookers unsure if he’s going to drive for BMW Sauber next year.

“I am talking with several teams — not just BMW,”

Although having fairly successful career so far, Nick hasn’t achieved a win yet although he’s been able to steal podiums just when you think he’s down and out. This season, fighting a very difficult car he’s again been on the podium and is ahead of Robert Kubica in points.

This season, rumours have it that Nico Rosberg could be a replacement for Nick in 2010 although he’s also feeling out McLaren as well. It’s no secret Rosberg wants a works drive and since being with Williams he’s never assured Frank Williams he wants to stay. Keep in mind these are purely speculation.

We’ll just have to wait and see.

well, with politics set aside for a while it is time for rumours :-)

with regards to Heidfeld – looking elsewhere may be the case for both Heidfeld and also his team. it took Mario Theissen a while before he confirmed him for 2009 season.

and what about Kubica ? he may be looking for future elsewhere too.

the team will probably want to keep at least one of their drivers next year

after rather quiet market last year it looks like busy times ahead this summer and winter …
F1Wolf´s last blog ..Bridgestone changed the tyre allocation concept, for next 4 races they say My ComLuv Profile
