Sad Day Today at My House
ByIt’s a sad day today for me. Today I had to put my dog, my best friend for 16 years to sleep. He has been suffering from cancer and it progressed much quicker than we had hoped. We hoped he would be able to enjoy one more summer with us, but sadly no and to say goodbye after 16 years is hard. It’s been a tough weekend with the grand prix and knowing this was probably going to happen.
I will get my BMW Sauber race review up as soon as I can.

I’m sorry to hear that. I know it’s not easy to lose a cherished pet. Hope the fond memories you have of him keeps you smiling.

I’m so sorry to hear you lost your best friend of 16 years. he will undoubtably have lots of treats and toys to play with at the rainbow bridge, so be glad you gave him great memories of you to last until you see each other again, in another happy lifetime.
you are both in my prayers.
btw, I approved your PAID purchase ad – but it’s the only one so far;
as this is making me feel the need to spend my ec’s like a drunken sailor and dash off. it’s just getting to be too much drama for me.
but I will always be stopping by here eitherway.

So sorry about your dog. It’s so hard to have to put a pet down but it sounds like you actually did the humane thing for your dog. I had to put down three cats within a week and it broke my heart. It’s nice you had so many years with your dog but I’m sure it left a big hole in your heart. Hopefully in time, you will give another dog a wonderful home.

Thanx for all the kind words everyone. Reading them makes me feel that much better. Now I go and sleep, yes it’s early here, but taking care of him has left me with little to no sleep this whole weekend.

I am truly sorry to hear you lost your best friend. My cats are my best friends. I have two that are 16 years old too. I know they can’t live as long as humans, I sure wish they could. I know one day soon, the two oldest cats will pass away and I will miss them dearly.
Take care of yourself and get some rest. My prayers are with you.

omgoodness! I just got a dog (I foster with a rescue group) – I understand the depth of that bond. So sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved companion. I have experienced this pain myself and can definitely relate. It does get easier as time moves forward.

Hi,
I am sorry for the loss of your friend. My cat Max is getting to the age where I often wonder if he will start to decline soon. I had to put my other cat Samantha down last year and it was very hard to be with her while she was put to sleep. Our pets are great friends and I share with you the sense of loss you feel.
