Sun in Jerez, Sand in Sakhir
By
Once again the sand is flying in Sakhir and testing is canceled today. It’s a repeat of yesterday but only one installation lap was completed today before calling it off. 22 laps for Kubica in 2 days doesn’t translate into much of an accomplishment. The kicker is that of course BMW Sauber, Ferrari, and Toyota are all in Sakhir to get away from bad weather in Jerez.
I don’t know what forecasting model they were looking at prior to leaving for Bahrain, but I looked at the weather forecasts for Jerez and for this week it couldn’t have been better.
So that ends it for Robert Kubica and now tomorrow, the last day in Sakhir and if the weather improves, Christian Klien will be at the wheel.
