Klien Tops the Charts in Bahrain Test
By
It’s not often a BMW Sauber driver tops the test time charts. It’s always appeared they’d rather not show their cards to early, but not today as Christian Klien topped the charts. Obviously the most significant issue is what they accomplished.
Klien racked up a total of 131 laps with attention focused on mechanical and aerodynamic set-up. When most of the data was collected, the team worked on race starts.
“Today was a very productive day,”
“We collected a lot of data and I even did a long run at the end of the session. Again we didn’t have a single technical problem, which is very encouraging.”
| Christian Klien | BMW Sauber | 1m32.544s |
| Kimi Raikkonen | Ferrari | 1m32.804s |
| Jarno Trulli | Toyota | 1m33.064s |
