Kubica Has a Kart

Robert Kubica is still a kid at heart and has set up his own karting team.. In between public appearances and December testing he managed to find time to put the final details on his new project.
Kubica is partnering with Birel, the company he scored fourth places in the European and world championships in 2000. Kubica will take an active role in management of the team which is suppose to take part in all the major international events.
Less politics and more driving he says.
“I’ve always enjoyed driving karts. It was a great fun to compete in karting – lots of competition and not so much politics.”

I think it is a great idea that Robert is still keeping links with his Kart days.
It’s nice that he his still remembering how his racing career began.
Although i don’t know how he will keep up with the management side of things, because no doubt he will be very busy soon with the f1 testing and the 2009 season.

This shows that success hasn’t gone to his head. It is quite an experience to go back to the world where you learned the basics and spending some time is really nice…
