BMW Sauber Day 1 Testing in Jerez
ByIt’s back to the on track business for BMW Sauber for a few days in Jerez. It’s day one of three for the team and here’s what is happened and what the focus was:
Jerez has it’s share of fog and this morning, well no exception so the day started a little late. Christian Klien and Nick Heidfeld are up today with both driving the modified F1.08b and Klien driving with the KERS device.
Klien’s day ended early when sensors indicated a problem and the ream elected for a complete engine change. Nick Heidfeld worked on suspension setup alond with the new aero package. the day ended early with rain, but some good progress was made.

“Based on the results of the last test in Barcelona we changed the mechanical setup of the car. “It looks like we are moving in the right direction.”
Tomorrow will feature Nick Heidfeld and Robert Kubica coming off of his birthday and then Thursday Robert and Christian will be at the wheels.
