My Thoughts Exactly Mr. Klien!
By BMWF1guy“It’s a sexy car isn’t it?” As it is at the moment it’s the worst Formula One car I have ever seen. It doesn’t seem like it fits, all the big wings and everything. But everyone will get used to it and it’s not how it will look in March.”
Well, what do you think? I agree Mr. Klien, it’s pretty ugly, but then what do I expect. The new rule changes are as radical as the car is ugly. Just look at the skinny high in the air rear wing and what’s that on the front of the car. It looks like my snow shovel.
We’ve been slowly watching the evolution of the f1 car over the years, seeing it more and more streamlined with slick looking aero parts etc., and have gotten use to how advanced these cars have become. Many would say that the 2007 or 2008 cars (without the funky horns) look absolutely fantastic. That’s my opinion.
Now in just a month, we’ve gone from what we’ve slowly gotten use to straight into this with no time to get use to the new (cough, cough) look. I had been looking forward to seeing the first draft of the new cars and had some idea of what they would look like, but it’s still a shock isn’t it. Basic and clunky comes to mind, but in first test, they are pretty quick! Just look at the times so far and they are pretty good especially with slicks helping in the slow speed corners.
Just get rid of that shovel on the front.

As long as it is faster than this year car it is good to me. The slics are the best thing and i dont lie the back , it is too small.

The snowplow seems to work well so far, but if it remains that wide I have to agree with Kubica that spares will be lining the shelves each race. Can you imagine wheel to wheel racing with all those pieces flying around?

can’t, they won’t be able to get wheel to wheel

It’s the performance that counts and not the looks.
