Friday Practice 1: Now That’s What I Call Rain!
ByPractice session 1 today for the Italian Grand Prix was shall we say interrupted by a brief rain storm. When the skies opened up fans scrambled, and the teams scrambled to escape the downpour and it was all the teams could do using squeegees to keep their garages from flooding . The session was red-flagged and there were no cars on the track at the time.
In the end, times were slow and not at all significant with Adrian Sutil fastest, Rubens Barichello 2nd, and Giancarlo Fisichella 3rd fastest. Nothing significant from the BMW Sauber guys.
